Way back when in November 2023, Robert Kaplan’s WAPO opinion piece pulled out the D word on Trump’s 2025 game plan. But was it the right one? “Dictator” sent shivers down spines, across the country. Perhaps more so than “authoritarian” and “strongman” have thus far, but which spines shivered, and did they shiver enough?
